Where we deliver in Southampton

Across Southampton and the surrounding Hampshire area, free.

That covers the city centre, Portswood, Highfield, Bassett, Shirley, Bitterne and Woolston. Out to Eastleigh, Romsey, Totton, Hedge End, Fareham, Winchester and across the New Forest fringe.

We cover the SO postcodes. If your area is not listed, we still deliver, and it is still free.

How delivery works

Choose your delivery date at checkout. We cut and pack your tree the working day before it travels, so it arrives fresh.

Deliveries run 8am to 6pm and you do not need to be in. The courier leaves the tree somewhere safe.

Trees travel netted, inside a heavy-duty carrier with a cane to hold the shape. We use DX, a national carrier for large goods. They are good, but not perfect, so we cannot promise a date will never slip.

Delivery is free. No minimum order.

Which tree?

Nordmann Fir

The non-drop tree. Thick, waxy needles that hold their moisture and stay on the branch. Soft and blunt, so it suits a house with children or a dog. Watered, it holds four to five weeks.

Norway Spruce

The traditional tree, and the one that smells of Christmas. It drops sooner, so put it up mid December and water it every day.

Pot grown trees

Alive, roots and all, at 2ft to 3ft. Back outside after Christmas and it can return next year.

What size?

Measure the ceiling and take off a foot for the stand and the star. Most homes want a 6ft tree. Allow for width too, because a tree is about two thirds as wide as it is tall.

See our size guide.

Recycling in Southampton

Southampton City Council collects real Christmas trees in January and chips them for mulch. Check the council website for your date or nearest drop-off point. It is usually free.

Hampshire hospice charities also collect trees for a donation. Otherwise, add our collection service at checkout. More in our recycling guide.

Keeping it alive

Saw an inch off the trunk before it goes in the stand. Sap seals the cut end within hours of harvest, and without a fresh cut the tree cannot drink.

Get it into water, check the water daily, and keep it off the radiator. More in our guide to keeping your tree fresh.
