Our London Customers
Ian from Hither Green“An absolute unit! This was my first time ever ordering a Christmas Tree online and I’m so glad I used ChristmasTrees.co.uk. Ordering was very simple and straightforward. Choose a Fraser Fir as this was the type we frequently had growing up, but isn’t the most common in the UK. Order was placed on the 10th of October for the 1st of December. Didn’t know exactly what to expect, but got a text message the day before saying they would be delivering it between 630 and 830am the next day. Thankfully arrived closer to 830am! It arrived very well packaged, but when we opened it up we found the fullest and roundest tree I’ve ever had. An absolute unit! Smell is amazing and going to have a good time decorating it when my daughter gets home from school! Will be buying again next year!”
Aaron from Richmond“Ordered a Korean Fir and am in love with it and the service. Ordered to arrive for 28th Nov, managed to buy the last few before they were out of stock. Exceptional tree, pruned for maximum effect. Smells incredible. The deliver company that they used, Arrow XL, were really good. Called just before they arrived and brought it up to our 4th floor flat without a problem. Would highly recommend” You can see Aaron’s stunningly decorated Korean Fir Christmas tree photographed to the right.
Christmas Lights In London
If you want to see Christmas lights in London then you’re going to be almost spoilt for choice. There are several areas you can visit in London, here are some our favourites.
You can find Carnaby Street tucked away between Oxford Circus and Piccadilly. It has become one of the most popular and picturesque streets when it comes to Christmas lights in London. In previous years the lights have been illuminated in late October, much earlier than many other places in London or indeed the UK, so they can be enjoyed by everyone for longer.
Regent Street boasts some of the grandest Christmas lights on display in London, featuring some 300,000 LED lights. In recent years the theme has been ‘Spirit of Christmas’ and the lights depict magnificent angels all along the street. The switch-on typically takes place in mid-November, and the street is pedestrianised for the event.
Kew Gardens Christmas lights feature a stunning trail with views over the botanic gardens, illuminated with over a million lights. The route is over 1.5 miles and you’ll want to allow over an hour to take in the magnificent display. Kew Gardens is a paid for ticketed light trial, so you’ll want to make sure you book it in advance.
